Credits and premium features

Most of what Jordyn does is covered by your plan's monthly actions. A handful of things cost real computing money — generated images, narrated presentations, deep mailbox scans — and those are priced in credits.

The rule that matters: Jordyn states the credit cost in chat before doing chargeable work. There is no silent billing. If you did not see a number, you were not charged one.

How the two work together

ActionsCredits
Where they come fromIncluded in your planBought in packs, or your included allowance
When they resetMonthly, on the 1stNever — credits do not expire
What they coverOrdinary work: email, scheduling, contacts, chatPremium work, plus ordinary actions once the monthly allowance is gone

Once your monthly actions run out, 1 credit = 1 action, so work carries on rather than stopping dead.

Buying credits

Credit packs are one-time purchases on the Usage & Billing page, and they never expire:

PackPer credit
100 credits — $1515¢
300 credits — $3913¢
1,000 credits — $999.9¢

What things cost

Prices can change, and Jordyn always quotes the live price in chat before charging. Current standard prices:

The protections

These are deliberate, and they are the reason you can experiment freely:

  • Drafts and previews are free. Presentations, templates and designs charge only when you approve the build or save. You can iterate on a script as long as you like.
  • A failed job is refunded. If a charged job produces nothing, the credits come back automatically.
  • Nothing is half-bought. If your balance cannot cover a job, nothing is created and nothing is charged — Jordyn says so and points you at the Usage & Billing page.
  • Every charge is on the record. The usage ledger on the Account page shows when and why for each one.
  • You get warned. At 10 credits or fewer, you get an email alert. Toggle it on the Account page.

Keeping the bill down

  • Ask for one image first, then variations of the one you like, rather than four up front.
  • Use the standard interactive presentation unless you specifically want art per slide — illustrated is three times the price.
  • A PowerPoint deck is 1 credit; an interactive presentation is 10. If you are going to present it yourself, the deck is the cheaper tool.
  • Deep scans are 1 credit and worth it; ordinary searches are free, so only reach for a deep scan when you need every message read.

When something's wrong

I was charged for something I didn't approve. Check the ledger on the Account page — it records what and when. Charges follow an approval, so this usually turns out to be a build you confirmed earlier. If it does not match, report it in chat.

The job failed but credits left my balance. Refunds are automatic but not always instant. Give it a few minutes, then check the ledger; if it has not returned, say so in chat.

Jordyn says I can't afford it. Nothing was created and nothing was charged. Buy a pack on Usage & Billing, or ask for the cheaper form — a deck instead of a presentation, one image instead of four.

I don't know what's using them up. Ask "what have I spent credits on this month?" — the ledger answers it directly.

Or just ask

  • "How many credits do I have?"
  • "What will that cost?"
  • "What have I spent credits on this month?"
  • "Buy me 300 credits"
