To-dos and reminders
Creating to-dos
- In chat: "remind me to send the proposal Friday", "add that to my list". Jordyn files one to-do per item.
- From a sweep: "check my email for bills and remind me" — Jordyn scans the mailbox and files a to-do per bill, each linked to its source email.
- On the To-dos page (/todos): type into the input box, set a due date with the date picker, or use the microphone button to speak the to-do.
The To-dos page
To-dos are grouped into Overdue (red badge), Today (amber), Upcoming, No date, and Done (collapsed, 15 per page).
- Tick the checkbox to mark one done.
- Change the due date with the date field on the row.
- Click the ✉ button on a to-do to open the email it came from.
- Click ✕ to remove a to-do permanently.
Reminders at an exact time
"Text me at 4 to call Bill" is a timed reminder, delivered by text if your Jordyn phone line and texting are set up, otherwise by email. Jordyn tells you which channel it will use when it files the reminder.
To-dos in your morning briefing
Overdue and due-today items appear in your daily briefing email with one-tap links:
- ✓ done marks it complete — no login needed.
- → tomorrow snoozes it to 9 AM the next day.
If the email thread behind a to-do has moved on since (someone already replied, the thing got handled), the briefing offers a one-tap "probably done" closure — you approve it, nothing closes itself.
Big projects
When a job spans days, Jordyn files the plan as to-dos — one per remaining step — and ticks them off as they complete, so a later conversation picks the project up from the list rather than from scratch.
