The follow-ups queue

Follow-ups are how nobody slips. Every contact can carry a next follow-up — a date plus a short note about why — and the Follow-ups view (/clients/followups) turns those into a working queue.

Setting a follow-up

  • On a contact page: set the next follow-up date and note in the Details tab.
  • In chat: "follow up with Maria next Thursday about the renewal" — Jordyn files it on her record.
  • In bulk: select multiple people in the People view (/clients) and set one follow-up date for all of them — handy after an event or a mailing.

Working the queue

The Follow-ups view groups everyone with a follow-up into four buckets:

  1. Overdue — the date has passed. Start here.
  2. Today
  3. This week
  4. Later

Each entry shows the person and your note, so you know why you are calling before you click. Open the contact to see their full activity timeline, then set the next follow-up before you move on — that is the whole rhythm: work the top, reschedule, repeat.

Where follow-ups meet everything else

Segments can filter on contact recency ("no contact in N days") to find people who should have a follow-up but do not — see "Saved segments." And Jordyn suggests follow-ups from your real correspondence when a normally chatty client goes quiet.
