Folders and multiple accounts
Folders
Open the folder drawer from the left edge of the Inbox page (/inbox) — hover the edge or click the folder button.
- Folders are listed system-first, then alphabetically, with unread counts where your provider supplies them.
- Click a folder to browse it — the first 25 emails load, with Load more for the rest. Archive, delete, move, star, and read/unread all work inside a folder view.
- Create a folder: click new folder and type the name inline.
- Rename: the folder row becomes an editable field.
- Delete: the row becomes an inline confirmation strip — no popups.
- Move any email to a folder from its actions.
If a folder action does not stick (the provider refused it), the list refreshes to show the true state — just retry.
Multiple email accounts
You can connect any number of Gmail, Outlook, and Fastmail accounts on the Connections page (/connections).
- The Inbox shows all accounts together by default; use the account filter to scope to one.
- Default sending account: pick it in the account picker on the Inbox. Jordyn uses it when you say "send" without naming an account.
- When you reply to an email, the reply is sent from the account that received it.
- When exactly one account is connected, Jordyn always uses it and never asks which.
- In chat, if a send could go from more than one account, Jordyn asks with quick-choice buttons.
Disconnecting an account
On the Connections page, open the provider tile, click the remove control next to the account, and confirm with Disconnect. Attachment indexes for that account are cleaned up; reconnecting later restores service without losing your Jordyn history.
