Connecting apps
Beyond email, Jordyn connects to 500+ apps — storage, chat, payments, CRM, marketing, e-signature, and more. Manage them on the Connections page (/connections) or connect straight from chat ("connect my Dropbox").
The Connections page
- Apps are grouped: Email & Calendar (start here), Files & Docs, Team chat & Meetings, Social media, Payments & CRM.
- The search box (Search all) finds anything in the 500+ app catalog.
- Status chips at the top show how many are connected and how many need attention.
- Click any tile for its panel: what Jordyn can do with the app, "Try saying" examples, connected accounts, and the connect control.
How connecting works
- Sign-in apps (Google Drive, Slack, Teams, DocuSign, and most others): click Connect and approve on the provider's own screen.
- Key-based apps (Fastmail, Stripe): paste the key into the secure form on the tile. Never paste keys into chat — if you do, they are redacted automatically and not stored, and Jordyn points you to the secure form.
- From chat: name the app and Jordyn presents the connect link or secure form in the conversation. If Jordyn does not recognize the name, it shows a live searchable catalog right in chat.
Recommendations by need
- Mass email: Brevo (easiest free start), Mailchimp, SendGrid, Klaviyo, or Customer.io — lifts the campaign cap from 50 to 200 emails/day.
- Texting clients in bulk: ClickSend or Twilio.
- E-signatures: DocuSign. Scheduling: your built-in booking page, or Calendly. Video calls: Zoom or Teams. Payments: the native Stripe connection.
Your own Stripe
Connect Stripe with a restricted key and run your money from chat: payment links, hosted invoices, payment status, reminders, refunds, coupons, and a revenue pulse. Refunds and voids always require your explicit confirmation.
Inbound webhooks
Outside systems can trigger Jordyn: "when my Typeform gets a submission, file the person as a contact." Jordyn creates a webhook address for you, you paste it into the other system, send one test, and approve the field mapping — then rules can act on every delivery.
Advanced: MCP servers
Companies can plug in their own MCP servers (a web address plus optional key) at the bottom of the Connections page, with per-server full-access or read-only control and a Test button.
