What your booking page visitors experience

Booking a time

  1. The visitor opens your link (jordyn.app/book/your-name) and sees your page title, intro, and location (if set).
  2. If you offer several meeting lengths, they pick one first.
  3. Open times are grouped by day, shown in the visitor's own time zone — with a note showing your time zone when they differ.
  4. They click a time and fill in: Your name (required), Your email (required), phone (optional), and a note for you (optional, up to 500 characters).
  5. They click Confirm booking.

After booking

The success screen says "You're booked" with the time, the meeting link or location, and two buttons:

  • Add to my calendar — downloads a calendar file for their calendar app.
  • Book another time — back to the slot picker.

Their confirmation email repeats the details and includes a private reschedule or cancel link ("Plans change? Reschedule or cancel here — no need to email anyone"). About an hour before the meeting they get an automatic reminder.

Rescheduling and canceling (visitor side)

  1. They open the manage link from their confirmation email.
  2. Cancel booking asks once more ("Really cancel this booking?") before canceling.
  3. On cancel: the slot opens up again, the calendar entry is removed, and you get an email — "[Name] canceled the meeting on [date]. The slot is open again on your booking page."
  4. To reschedule, they cancel and then click Pick a new time, which reopens your booking page. You get one cancellation email and one new-booking email.

If you delete a booking from your own calendar, the visitor is notified politely and invited to rebook.

Things visitors might see

  • "That slot was just taken — pick another." (someone else claimed it first)
  • "That time isn't available anymore." (the time passed or fell outside the window)
  • A per-visitor daily booking limit protects your page from abuse (20 bookings per visitor location per day).
